It was a busy day. Things break. The boat is under incredible stress—we can see it as we measured the loads on all the sails. But we did not expect our water maker to blow a pipe. We make fresh water on the boat using reverse osmosis. A connection blew, and water went everywhere. Fixing it was one mission today.
Now that we have found the right wind and wave combo, we have deployed the asymmetric spinnaker. It is a 240m sq. Downwind sail. In 14Kn, we will go about 10Kn. We are moving now- in the sweet zone, the boat feels like it is flying.
