That place is in the middle of nowhere. Is it?

Occasionally we say to someone – you know, I was XXX, and it was IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.
I will never say that again.
As we sail from St Helena towards South America, we are in the middle of nowhere. I have an odd understanding of what it might be like to be in space. It’s just empty. It is silent.
The idea of ten more days at sea could seem overwhelming; for some, it would.
But for me, it is a test and a reminder.
A test of mental toughness. It is a test of endurance.
And it makes you think – what matters most?
There are four of us on REIMAGINED. It is not a small boat, but it is not massive. And now, a few weeks later, a flow has developed. We have a watch routine, 4 hours during the day, 3 hours at night. We have a meal prep and cleaning flow. We chit-chat and private time flow. We have a flow, and flow is hard to find. Most of all, we have a trust flow. We know if we encounter a challenge, the only answer is to huddle as a team and solve it together. There is no path that does not result in the team being first before all.
It was that reminder that I needed the most. Under pressure, when it is easiest to break, teams that hold together are the teams that win. There are very few people in life you can, without question, know they have your back—very few. And even less, you have a great flow with.
In other news. The bozo brigade has not even come close to a fish.
The moon is owning it: Waxing Gibbous. Like, wtf does that mean? It’s 3/4
Here is to slowly creeping forward.
